Peter, Look at the QueryUnload() event as this happens immediately before the Destroy() event but after all tables have been closed.

The trouble is that you then return to READ EVENTS and not sure what I can do from there. What I'm doing is using my app as a barcode application that will automatically load a certain form on entry (which I have done successfully) but want to exit when they close the form. What I meant by "Graceful" was closing tables, releasing memory etc before quitting.
