>> The Sedna download page points out that VFP 9 SP2 is required. Is this
strictly the case or can some of these components be used with SP1?<<

I have been working with the components in SP1 throughout the CTP and beta
process. I don't
understand this being a requirement.

>>Any news on when the 3rd party Sedna controls from DBI will be released?<<

No, I would contact DBi directly to get it from the horse's mouth.

>>From what you know, does this release formally close out all of
Microsoft's commitments to VFP community or is it possible that we may
see a fixed SP2 and/or a service pack for Sedna?<<

Officially, yes this would mark the end of the Fox Team's releases of VFP. As
far as Sedna, the
components will be loaded into CodePlex so there will be "service packs" as
long as there are
developers to support the components. I for one will be managing the
DataExplorer project. As for
SP3? I am hopeful, but there has not been any official word from Microsoft
either way, and I don't
speak for Microsoft.

Rick,

The Sedna download page points out that VFP 9 SP2 is required. Is this
strictly the case or can some of these components be used with SP1?

Any news on when the 3rd party Sedna controls from DBI will be released?

Thanks for the update!

Malcolm
