I learned my lesson about putting all my eggs in one basket even if its a big basket like Microsoft. Plus I think my platform options/opportunities are much greater with Python than with C# especially with respect to mobile devices from a variety of vendors. I'm also not sold on the .NET CLR - too bulky, too many dependencies (brittle), and not really portable at all. Wish you lots of luck anyway!
