Maybe he really _means_ "defiantly." As in "in the m$ camp in defying  
of all our hard-learned reasons not too be." Or as he might say,  
"Their are to many other things too worry about."

Or maybe he is the smarter one (er, not grammatically I mean). He  
*does* keep getting gigs where others of us are still struggling.  
After all, most of us made pretty damn good livings for *years*  
following the M$ gravy train. In a perfect world, people buying IT  
consulting services should see the reasons to move away from it. But  
they don't.

In the old says, "nobody ever got fired for choosing IBM." Now it's M$.

Maybe "Bad Steve" recognizes some reality that many of us are fighting.

Just thinking through my fingers.
