Hi All, My home PC has bee BSODing randomly for the last few months. I thought it was overheating (it's a self-build) but last night I took a look at the last Windows minidump with a debug tool and it seems the culprit is Avast.
So I need to dump Avast and find something else. I've used AVG in the past which seemed OK but wasn't overly impressed (the Windows 3.1 style interface doesn't help...). Can anyone recommend any others? I suppose it doesn't have to be free but I won't pay for Norton or McAffe as they both have serious problems. -- Paul _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[EMAIL PROTECTED] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
