PMFJI, but I believe that electrically HDMI is DVI with a digtal audio line added in a more compact form factor. DVI -> HDMI adapters can be had for fairly cheap, in fact Gmail is showing me ads for some as I type this. The HDMI spec does include provisions for encryptation and DRM, but that shouldn't be relevant to this application. No virus found in this outgoing message. Checked by AVG Free Edition.
