This is one thing is really starting to annoy me about Tbird. I can't seem to find any settings anywhere that will make Tbird show it's progress when downloading attachments, or even show the attachment size. This is really annoying when someone sends a large attachment, and you have no idea if it's 99% complete, 1% complete, or if Tbird has locked up.
I've resorted to starting the AVG virus control panel before opening Tbird, because it will show % of message progress as each message comes through. I can't believe Tbird doesn't have this ability, but I can't find it.
