I was just working through some of the settings and this one worked for
me to get a logical field back:
Driver={PostgreSQL
UNICODE};Server=10.1.1.1;Database=Test;Uid=Test;Pwd=test;B9=0"
The B9 parameter is for "BOOLASCHAR". Without it, or with it set as
";B9=1", then the field returns as character.
