I'm just starting to play around with Virtual Machines. Got and installed VMWare some months back, and am getting somewhat comfortable with it. Just got VirtualBox last night, and am REALLY impressed with it, especially the setup wizards. Why can't VMWare do that?
Anyway, I'm reading through the manuals, and may eventually find the answer, but does anyone with more experience know if it's possible to "Snapshot" a current machine, and make it into a VM? I know I can install XP in a VM, and then reload all my stuff, but I have so much stuff, it would be a time-consuming pain. I'd like to just "Copy" my current XP into a VM, and then run the VM. Has anyone had any experience with this? Any legal issues I should be aware of? Thanks. _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[EMAIL PROTECTED] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
