Everyone is making a big hoopla about these various cars that manage to get between 35 and 50mpg, and it's trumpeted as some great deal. Yet I drive a 1996 Ford Aspire that gets 35MPG, and seats 4. They did it in '96, and China has done it for over a decade, why is it such a big deal here?
