John, Careful, there are certain ones you can't/shouldn't delete. Go onto Doug Knox's site http://www.dougknox.com/ and look under the Windows XP Utilities in the left habd frame and then download the "Remove Hotfix Backup Files" utility. The program does it all for you without problems.
Doug's site is a real goldmine of utilities etc. Dave Crozier -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of John Weller Sent: 16 February 2008 05:39 To: [email protected] Subject: Windows Updates I am in the process of re-building an XP box. As part of the job I am running Windows Update which will leave me with countless $NTUninstall folders. As it is extremely unlikely I would want to uninstall a security update can I safely delete these folders?
