That's a shame.  For years I staunchly used it, avoiding IE at all 
costs.  I think it was their hurried, disastrous release of Netscape 6.0 
that started their death.  Until then, I delightedly applied every 
upgrade they came out with.  But that release was so awful that I rolled 
back to 4.78, warned everyone I knew away from 6.0, and never rolled 
forward again.  Opera came out shortly after that, and then finally, 
Firefox.  I haven't used Netscape in years.

I just checked - my old machine still has Netscape 4.78, and my wife's 
and my new machines don't have Netscape at all.

A moment of respectful silence, and then let us all raise our glasses to 
the deceased.  :-(
