Clue check.

Your entire meat industries were very dependent on corn as  it was a great
food source and cheap.  It has doubled twice in the past 4 years and we are
all paying dearly for it.

Because corn was so good for the farmer to plant, they backed off acreage in
many other types of food world wide.  What being one of the worst hit for
shortage in plantings.  What took a double whammy with the near drought
conditions worldwide in 2007, and rolling into 2008 in the southern
hemisphere.  Countries are disparate to get any relief from the huge
shortages they have.  the USA can't contribute like we use to because we
make alcohol out of that same sq acre now.  How is that for progress.

Mexico has taken it real hard that corn has gone up like that.  It is a
staple there and it's price change has really effected the masses.
