Your entire meat industries were very dependent on corn as it was a great food source and cheap. It has doubled twice in the past 4 years and we are all paying dearly for it. Because corn was so good for the farmer to plant, they backed off acreage in many other types of food world wide. What being one of the worst hit for shortage in plantings. What took a double whammy with the near drought conditions worldwide in 2007, and rolling into 2008 in the southern hemisphere. Countries are disparate to get any relief from the huge shortages they have. the USA can't contribute like we use to because we make alcohol out of that same sq acre now. How is that for progress. Mexico has taken it real hard that corn has gone up like that. It is a staple there and it's price change has really effected the masses. -- Stephen Russell Sr. Production Systems Programmer Mimeo.com Memphis TN 901.246-0159 --- StripMime Report -- processed MIME parts --- multipart/alternative text/plain (text body -- kept) text/html --- _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[EMAIL PROTECTED] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
