A number of people in Stephenville, TX, USA located 97 miles east by
south east of Abilene, saw a UFO in early January 2008. The UFO was
reported by some to be about the size of a Super Wal-Mart, which is
huge. Air force bases in the surrounding area were contacted but
initially report they had no aircraft in the location of the sighting at
the time the UFO was seen. Later the Air Force made a press release
stating the UFO was probably two commercial airliners flying in close
proximity to each other that passed over the area. Still later the Air
Force change its earlier claims stating a number of F16 fighters were
conducting training operations in the area where the UFO were reported
seen.

This doesn't make sense, because the UFO was clearly reported as a very
large object flying low, (eg only about 300 feet above ground), and
making absolutely no sound what-so-ever. F16s are very loud and small
compared to the size of a Super Wal-Mart. Below is a link to an article
that appeared in the Abilene Reporter News this morning. Very
interesting, and I wish I would have been lucky enough to have seen the
object which could not be identified.
