Madigan, > If elected, he becomes the least experienced president > in the nations's history.
Exactly. Each of those inexperienced presidents made major gaffes. JFK nearly started WWIII. Bill Clinton cost the party the majority in both houses by raising taxes and pushing an all-encompassing health care proposal, and in general being arrogant about how much you could accomplish on 'hope'. Jimmy Carter sat on stagflation, reasoning that bracket creep would solve the budget deficit problem. It was absolutely heartbreaking. I liked him, but I voted for Ford because I thought he was a good president and Carter was untested. My thoughts have been changing lately about the Democratic party. I'm concerned about the way a freshman senator is going by without proper vetting to see if he could really handle the job. I would be very likely to vote for McCain if Obama gets the nomination because I am concerned that a freshman senator's 'judgment' is just not worth as much to me as a veteran leader -- even if he's from the wrong party. I don't think my position will be unique after a few months of Republican attacks on Obama's empty suit.
