Exactly.

Each of those inexperienced presidents made major gaffes. JFK nearly started
WWIII. Bill Clinton cost the party the majority in both houses by raising
taxes and pushing an all-encompassing health care proposal, and in general
being arrogant about how much you could accomplish on 'hope'. Jimmy Carter
sat on stagflation, reasoning that bracket creep would solve the budget
deficit problem. It was absolutely heartbreaking. I liked him, but I voted
for Ford because I thought he was a good president and Carter was untested.

My thoughts have been changing lately about the Democratic party. I'm
concerned about the way a freshman senator is going by without proper
vetting to see if he could really handle the job. I would be very likely to
vote for McCain if Obama gets the nomination because I am concerned that a
freshman senator's 'judgment' is just not worth as much to me as a veteran
leader -- even if he's from the wrong party.

I don't think my position will be unique after a few months of Republican
attacks on Obama's empty suit.
