Past getting your app to work, was this a good thing to do?  "We mapped the
network drive on the workstation to the server using the Server admin rights
and giving the necessary users access to the network drive."

Does anyone wonder if it's M$ that has the security problem or the people
who implement on the platform that give it an "insecure" status?
