Takes me back - ah the days when you got a nice hunk of paper with everything that you could browse on the loo, not a poxy CD with PDF files. Are the days of weighty texts on programming languages beginning to wane? I was browsing two largish bookshops in Dublin recently, Waterstones and Hodges & Figgis. I was looking for Python books, but there were only maybe 5 or 10 in H&F, and none at all in Waterstones. This is for the language ranked 7th on the Tiobe index. Not even Ruby or Java had a whole lot of choice either. Are we just looking it up on Google now? _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[EMAIL PROTECTED] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
