>> SO -- off to the XMLAdapter class I go. Right?<< Disclaimer: I get close to a quarter (as in 25 cents, not 25%) of royalty for each What's New in Nine book Whil ships...
You might want to read chapter 10 of What's New in Nine from Hentzenwerke. There are significant improvements in the XMLAdapter from version 8 and nesting is part of this. Right on the first page of the chapter: " One of the most useful enhancements in VFP 9 is the improved ability for the XMLAdapter to read and write hierarchical XML. Under VFP 8, the XMLAdapter cannot create nested XML using the ToXML method nor can it always parse nested data into multiple tables using ToCursor or ChangesToCursor. VFP 9 lifts this limitation. " If you don't already have it and don't want to add 25 cents to my retirement fund by buying it from Hentzenwerke, you can get this book content online at http://www.foxcentral.net/microsoft/WhatsNewInVFP9.htm Rick White Light Computing, Inc. www.whitelightcomputing.com www.swfox.net www.rickschummer.com _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[EMAIL PROTECTED] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
