Another alternative is gatherplace.net.  I have been using it for 6 or 7
months. There is a fixed monthly rate for unlimited use which, at the time,
was significantly less than gotomeeting.  Of course you can use it for
training and support also.  

Simple, nothing is installed on the "other" machine, and operating system
independent.

Either party can have control.  Last week I was logged on with one of my
clients.  We were doing some training - I was watching him run my software
on his machine.  He wanted to show me something and logged onto another
service he uses... it was amazing....

You could have used it to "service" that woman you discussed a couple of
weeks ago.

GotoMeeting is NOT free, but well worth the cost, imo.  It's not that 
much...ymmv.  Kinda like Rick Schummer said awhile back---I'll pay for 
those tools that make my life a lot easier and add value to the 
vendor-customer relationship!
