Foxpro for Windows 2.6: "Parameters
<expr> The index key expression to search for is specified with <expr>. <expN> | <expC> SEEK( ) searches for a matching record in the table/.DBF in the current work area. To search for a matching record in a table/.DBF open in another work area, specify the work area number with <expN> or the table/.DBF or work area alias with <expC>." FoxPro for DOS 2.6a is the same. So you can specify the alias or work area to seek in, but not the index tag to use, despite both versions supporting compound indexes. _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[EMAIL PROTECTED] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
