Hi Pete, Had to think on it a bit....
I have a loyalty to all three, however I'm most loyal to my Welsh heritage, it's language, culture and history and especially at the moment to its Rugby Team. Loyalty does not however mean that I have to agree with everything a politician spouts. In each country I have the democratic right to disagree with the government, though free speech is not universal. All three countries I am a citizen/subject of are democracies with only the UK having a link to a state religion. Both other nations are officially secular, you now know two nationalities, the third I needed to have for business reasons. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Pete Theisen Sent: 27 March 2008 18:00 To: ProFox Email List Subject: Re: [OT] - Stupid Americans and Guns On Thursday 27 March 2008 11:28, Adam Buckland wrote: > But it can be amended.... Hi Adam! Maybe you think the 2nd will ever be repealed? The last amendment repealed was the 18th, in response to overwhelming public opinion. The overwhelming public opinion is on the keep it side for the 2nd. NO candidate for office will openly admit to being against the 2nd, although some mealy-mouth about this militia argument once they are elected, rejecting the history of the militia of revolutionary times - that the militia then was "all the people". Didn't see any answer to my question as to whether you are loyal to any of the three countries you hold citizenship in. Maybe you have no loyalty to any country? -- Regards, Pete http://www.pete-theisen.com/ [excessive quoting removed by server] _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[EMAIL PROTECTED] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
