IBM has been indefinitely barred from entering into new contracts with the U.S. federal government. The General Services Administration's Web site shows<http://www.epls.gov/epls/search.do?status=current&start=current&text=IBM>that IBM was added to a database of "excluded" contractors and subcontractors on March 27 by the Environmental Protection Agency. Under reciprocity rules, other agencies honor the exclusion. The Professional Services Council, a trade association that counts IBM as a member, has charged<http://ap.google.com/article/ALeqM5iDeTQGUI5A6rc2LDmbYGMSIme2DQD8VOLBF00>that the suspension was taken place before the company had a chance to respond to the EPA's concerns. -- Stephen Russell Sr. Production Systems Programmer Mimeo.com Memphis TN 901.246-0159 --- StripMime Report -- processed MIME parts --- multipart/alternative text/plain (text body -- kept) text/html --- _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[EMAIL PROTECTED] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
