Alan:
Set the resource file off and open that resource table.
Find the record where the ID is WINDBROW and ID (memo field) is the 
table you are browsing. Make sure the READONLY field is marked as .f.
If it marked as .t. the window position is not saved on exit.
Also, check to see if there is a 'preference' record in the resource 
file. Not sure how the browse window will behave if there is a 
preference file reference and you issue a BROWSE LAST
