That is sad news, as that conference showed a lot of potential.
However, I have to agree with his point that people just didn't seem
to be very interested in the 'Forward' part of FoxForward; my
impression is that most attendees wanted 'SoutheastFox' instead.

Seconded! He really did a great job putting it all together and
making it work. I've thought about someday putting on a regional
Python conference, but after seeing how much work goes into it...
