Then what? Illegal aliens show plenty of guts and gumption in their willingness to take the risk to come to America illegally. They come to America to work and provide a living for their family. They are good, honest, hard working people much like anyone else. Why punish them with mass deportation that will disrupt, split families and otherwise scare their lives forever.
Perhaps we could set up a penal colony in Cuba's Guantanamo. Before long we might have a who new country made up of criminals. After all, the British used Argentina as a penal colony for years, and Argentina didn't turn out badly.
