When I pinched a nerve in my neck so badly last year February my left arm and hand was so adversely impacted that I ended up using Naturally Speaking out of desperation. I had licensed an earlier version years before and ended up returning it as it was less than useless. Last year, however, I was very pleasantly surprised at how well it worked. Once the pain subsided and numbness diminished to the point where I was able to use my left arm and hand better (never has really returned to a normal state, numbness and weakness persist to this day) I was able to get back to using a keyboard again. The app was great for eMailing, but I never did expect it would do well with programming (it didn't do that at all well).
