Well, it is a gaming video card, so it is designed for gamers, who are running the "best" (left to interpretation) operating systems, which is xp / vista. you may be able to get it to work with linux or older versions of windows. I would start by searching the gamers forums or the forums for video cards to see if anyone has been able to get it to work with other OS's.
