It is more like gymnastics in the sense that the girls are scored and the
scores compared against the others. Lots of sports are like that.

If you don't think it is difficult, I'd like to see YOU upside down in the
water with your bottom half of your body from the waist down sticking
straight up in the air, holding it in place just with your arms underwater.

The girls are incredibly strong. Steve's daughter Amy used to get a big kick
out of arm wresting guys because she was stronger than most of them.
