He processes it with a filter, a little gas and some additives. Then he runs it in his Ford diesel just like that. Is starts fine, but it smells a bit like whatever food was cooked in it. The kits generally replace copper parts in the fuel system and contain heaters and filters. You could settle the fuel for a couple of weeks as an alternative to filtering and draw off the top part that is clear.
