Did you ever hear back from folks still there how the outsourcing was 
working out for them?

We've used some outsourcing here at this Baltimore place and it's been 
bad.  A supposed-to-be simple project that was due in December 2007 is 
still not finished.  The Indian guy is nice but the code is sketchy and 
the comments in code are few and far between.  They're creating this 
DotNet web service that supposed to talk to our VFP free tables, and it 
has some crappy requirement that it has to be DotNet 1.1 because 
otherwise something would break something else.  (Yeah, sketchy 
details...I know.)  My colleague wanted us to do a VFP web service that 
would have achieved the goal and much sooner but that option was passed 
for the outsourcing firm creating it in DotNet.  This was the "first 
stage" of the project.  Needless to say, mgmt has shit-canned "stage 2" 
as this has gone way late and over budget.
