Think of the result of the Doonesbury comics on the Newton - once
"general suckiness" becomes common wisdom, there's not much you can do
to rescue things in the market. Later versions of the Newton were
much, much better, but by then the damage had been done. I think the
same thing will happen with Vista: no matter what they do, it's dead
in the market.
