John: Thanks for your quick response! I can read the device using Hyperterm which I think is what MSCOMM can do. I want to read the commands sent to the device from the application.
For example, if I send a CTRL+C from Hyperterm to the COM port, I want a way to "see" the CTRL+C. I am thinking of connecting two computers over COM ports and transmitting on one and reading on the other, but I don't know if I can do that.
