Bo probably showed some GDI-trick to do this.

Simply, you can drop on the image control, pick an image you create with the
watermark, and stretch
it across bands. No absolute hack needed. You can put the watermark anywhere in
any band. Nothing
else is needed.

The only hack needed if you desire is getting the image object to stretch the
entire page of the
report. If you have MegaFox, everything you need to know is on pages 157 to
159. Cathy Pountney also
has a clear explanation on pages 237 to 239 of The Visual FoxPro Report Writer:
Pushing it to the
Limit and Beyond.

Both of us explain how to adjust the VPOS, HPOS, HEIGHT, and WIDTH of the image
object (OBJTYPE 17).
All the numbers are 10000th of an inch.

The big hassle is when you open the FRX in the Report Designer. When you try to
lasso any objects in
the report you always get the background image control for the watermark.

Years ago I remember folks suggested a hack of the FRX to set a large
watermark graphic in place in the detail band. I'm wondering if I still
have to hack the FRX for that? For some reason, I thought Bo Durban had
showed something (probably at FoxForward) as an easier alternative than
the old hack trick. ??

I'm not sure if I want to get that fancy (at this point) or not. Good
idea, though!
