My girlfriend runs a piano studio. She has a policy 1. A student must cancel their lesson with at least 24 hour notice. She does make an exception for medical emergencies and funerals.
2. there will be a maximum of 4 make-up lessons a year for excused absences. Seems reasonable, right? I mean when you enroll in college and you miss a class, you don't get a refund or a make-up. So yesterday a woman quit because she reached her 4-lesson limit already (and it's only half way through the year) and she received a notice saying that no more makeups will be given until the next calendar year. That means she's already missed 4 of the 26 possible lessons, or 15%. Why do some people believe the rules don't apply to them? ************************************************************************ Right Wing Mike http://www.cafepress.com Bigfoot Hates Obama http://www.cafepress.com/rightwingmike/5690856 I Wish Hillary had married OJ http://www.cafepress.com/rightwingmike/4236924 _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[EMAIL PROTECTED] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
