It changes nothing.  As you said there were various three day prophecies 
available to those who studied, and whoever wrote this tablet was obviously one 
who had studied.  Beyond this, the one making the biggest fuss about the 
revolutionary nature of this find is one who already had an agenda and was 
looking  for some sort of support.  

It kind of reminds me of other academics who are looking for support for other 
schemes  they wish to foist upon the 'unwashed public'.
