An on-topic post! A friend called up and asked for "Mr. SourceSafe" this morning, and I had to explain that Mr. SourceSafe checked out in 1994 and hasn't been heard from since. I hope someone here has more recent experience with SourceSafe. Here's his question:
On a machine with SourceSafe, VFP8 and VFP9 installed, the SourceSafe provider appears in the options for VFP9 and not for VFP8. Any idea why? Just asking the question gets me thinking that it might have something to do with install order.
