"It is unusual to do electioneering abroad," spokesman Thomas Steg told
reporters.

"It is unusual to hold election rallies abroad. No German candidate for high
office would even think of using the National Mall (in Washington) or Red
Square in Moscow for a rally because it would not be seen as appropriate."

The Democrats have shamelessly been electioneering, at home and abroad,
since 2005. They trampled all over the tradition of "politics stopping at
the water's edge" by active and aggressively promoting their caricature of
the President on foreign soil, every opportunity they got. They have been
working hard to get the country in the current ill mood it's in, to boost
their election chances.

Now it's somehow surprising that the Dem candidate will want to use
landmarks in foreign countries as political props? All as part of their
tired line about our friends not liking us anymore, unless, of course, we
vote Democrat this year, then we'll all be singing kumbaya together again.

I'll tell ya, on a not entirely unrelated note, this guy Obama sure thinks a
lot of himself.
