You and me both. I managed to get a temporary restraining order for a few days, there is a hearing on a preliminary injunction on 7/21. Unfortunately, they're now planning to sell it on 7/16. The only thing I can think of at this point to buy enough time to get the hearing on the preliminary injunction is to file bankruptcy on Monday and get the automatic stay. This is not fun. But if I can't get through this with the house still in our possession, we lose a few hundred thousand dollars of investment that I can't see how to get back again. The real estate market has dropped and our property isn't worth what it once was, but we didn't intend to leave and it would certainly recover its value later. Ick.
