In your job you should know the score and appreciate the "non brevity" of
the solution. It's just like any typical bureaucracy, why use 3 lines when
30 pages will do the same thing! <BG>

I know. I guess I was thinking more along the lines of Rick Strahl's
wwipstuff. I think he wraps an api call in his class. It's about 3 lines of
code, but not using sockets. I think it's win32 api.
