If you think the moral issue of abortion can be legislated by law or court by making abortion illegal, then all I have to say is good luck and God Bless; because, that would be a disaster. I don't think any country in the world has been successful in legislating the moral issue of abortion. The holy books around the world, including the Bible, have little to offer in guidance on the issue. Also, the precedence set by the Supreme Court in Rowe versus Wade has been relied upon for over 30 years and is unlikely to ever be overturned due to stari decisis. I think the Republicans use the abortion issue strictly as a cash cow to raise money for Republican candidate by firing up the religious right to support Republican candidates. It shameful that the Republican party has used this very emotional, moral issue of woman's choice, as a political tool.
