Some time back I read that Willie Nelson's adventure into biodiesel went belly up, due to failure to pay Federal, State, and Local taxes. I'm not sure whether Willie wasn't paying the tax collected on the sale of diesel, the income taxes on the profits of his business, or both, but evidentially Bio Willie is back. VW budgets the number of diesels it will manufacture for the USA, and then allocates the scheduled production to VW dealerships around the country.
