The hits keep coming. "During the trial, Ramsey's wife, Roberta Ramsey, testified she and her husband of 35 years returned from an early Valentine's Day lunch to find Lewis and another man, Michael Walker, burglarizing their home. Wearing her husband's wedding ring on a necklace, Roberta Ramsey testified that Walker stood in the driveway beside a blue Chevrolet Impala. Her husband pulled a sheathed knife from his truck and told Walker not to leave, the widow testified. When her husband threw the knife in its sheath at Walker, she said, Lewis came out of the house and shot him with a .38 caliber pistol he took from her husband's night stand. "He said, 'I got something I can take care of you with,' pulled the pistol out of his pocket, aimed it at him and shot him," the widow said. Ramsey, both on the stand and while listening to testimony, occasionally wept.
