Unfortunately that is a shorter term solution every passing day, but far more viable than remaining at the mercy of anything M$ happens to try (successfully for the most part) jam down our colelctive throats. I am using Ubuntu Linux (804) anywhere I can, and LOVE the iMac20 my wife has (I get to touch it once in a while, when she is not looking <g>). That said, most of my machines are still Windows 2003 Server, XP Pro and 2000 Pro. But the Linux and Dual Boot Windows/Ubuntu Linux workstations, and Ubuntu Servers, are getting more use each passing week.
