When I saw the way the wind was blowing, I sold my house and business in Seattle two years ago to concentrate in the EU (Specifically the UK) and Turkey. This isn't a position I will reverse for at least a couple of years as the economy needs some real painful changes before it can fire again. The asset growth and income I'm getting is far better than I can get back in the US, the US is going down fast and whilst I got the UK bit wrong (but have to keep the UK side for other reasons), burying your head in the ground saying that all's well in the garden is the biggest joke since "tax cuts for the rich will trickle down".
