Could I just point out the, er, facts here as I understand them, which is that FF is respecting the same *Windows* Internet security settings that IE uses, which can be accessed via Start/Control Panel/Internet Options without ever starting or using IE, although you can change them from within IE as well?
And that this means it will be respecting these settings as imposed automatically by group policy in a corporate environment, thus making admins feel all warm and fuzzy about using FF as a browser option for client desktops? Which is a quite different thing than 'FF is using Internet Explorer's Settings' which everyone is getting all bent outta shape about. -- Alan Bourke [EMAIL PROTECTED] _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[EMAIL PROTECTED] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
