She also attended a convention and several party functions in the 1990s, and shared her bed with a long- time member. I'm not trying to convince you that she's evil or anything; I don't believe for a second that she is. I'm only trying to point out the absurdity of those who insist that Obama is a dangerous terrorist because he had contact with Ayer in a context that had nothing to do with Ayer's crimimal activities, and yet have no problem with Palin, who was an active participant in an organization that is dedicated to seceeding from the US, and whose founder said ""The fires of hell are frozen glaciers compared to my hatred for the American government...and I won't be buried under their damn flag." Try reversing things: imagine if Obama had issued glowing praise for this sort of group that was blatantly opposing the US and referred to "their damn flag". Imagine also that Michelle Obama had been an active member of this group, and had attended several conventions for them. Are you so blinded by partisanship that you cannot recognize that there would be a non-stop attack on him for being a traitor? Would there be any doubt in your mind that he would be branded as someone who hated America to its core? -- Ed Leafe _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[EMAIL PROTECTED] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
