Hi Everybody! Every once in a while I actually take a gun or two out of my small collection and go to the range. After shooting you are supposed to clean the inside of the gun with a variety of brushes, solutions and patches. When you are finished, the last patch is supposed to go through the gun and come out "clean".
I have a huge pile of used patches here, and I have used a LOT of solution and brushed diligently. However, any patches coming out of the bore are still showing some dirt. Are they ever really clean? The range officer says that the new ammunition is "dirty", and not as powerful. Maybe this is due to the Ds wanting to get those of us who cling to guns and religion? Oh, yeah. Never mind my scores. I hit the target with all shots but no bull's eyes. Any ideas on "clean". Thanks in advance. -- Regards, Pete http://pete-theisen.com/ _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[EMAIL PROTECTED] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
