Stephen,
Take a look at Kevin Ragsdale's VFP Alert classes, they will raise an XP
"Outlook" style Message box. I think the project is now hosted on Codeplex.

There is also a "Toaster" class around somewhere (UT?) which does much the
same thing but I can't find the link at present.

Subject: VFP 8.0 How-To Please; Flash a minimized application

I just came out of a meeting and one of the applications I wrote for the
MTF (Medical Treatment Facility) they (they being the IMF, Information
management Function) want me to add an alerting feature for the Med
Techs that minimize the app and then since it is minimized they miss the
new appointment indicator I have on the patient checkin tech screen --
so, how can I flash the minimized app Icon. I think that would be the
easiest way.

TIA
