The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office issued a warrant for Foster Rayfield Leon, 30, of Jacksonville on charges of aggravated battery. The beating took place after an altercation at Starlite Cafe, a popular Five Points nightspot where the victim worked as a part-time DJ. Police found the 39-year-old DJ at Copeland and Herschel streets. According to the police report, his eyes were “protruding” from his head, and one ear was badly cut, too.
