Hi Everybody!

http://www.theaustralian.news.com.au/story/0,25197,24367173-2703,00.html

"Bloggers in China have widely claimed the scandal was deliberately
hushed up during the Olympic Games to prevent embarrassment for the country.

"Websites in China reported that after the first stories of poisoned
milk began to appear, Sanlu contacted Baidu, the country's biggest
search engine, to offer it $500,000 as a "public relations" fee to
screen out negative reports.

"While Baidu refused the offer, it and all other domestic media were
soon instructed by the Communist Party's central propaganda department
to restrict all coverage of the affair to centrally supplied information".

Hope the commie bosses are not as embarrassed now as they would have
been then. The delay in dealing with the issue only cost them a few
babies, and there are plenty more babies in China.
